2. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider: HOSTINGER operations, UAB, company code 306308157, Švitrigailos str. 34, LT-03230 Vilnius, Lithuania, phone: +370 64503378, email: domains@hostinger.com. The provider is based in Lithuania and therefore within the European Union. Personal data collected when you visit this website is stored on that provider's servers. The provider is used in the interest of a secure, fast, and efficient delivery of our website by a professional operator (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider: its Data Processing Addendum forms part of the provider's terms of service and incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Server log files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: the website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of the website, which requires server log files to be recorded. Server log files are stored by the hosting provider only for as long as is necessary for the technically error-free and secure operation of the site, and are deleted thereafter. They are not evaluated for any purpose beyond that.
4. Contacting us by email
If you contact us by email, the details you provide, including the contact data you supply, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or to pre-contractual measures, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in effectively handling enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose for storing it ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular statutory retention periods — remain unaffected.

5. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies, uses no local storage for analytics purposes, and embeds no analytics, advertising, or social media services. The language you select (German or English) is stored locally in your browser only, so that the site appears in the same language on your next visit. This information is not transmitted to us or to any third party and is technically necessary for the function you requested.
6. Fonts (self-hosted)
This website uses the typefaces EB Garamond and Mulish for consistent presentation. They are installed on our own server and loaded from there. No connection to Google's servers or those of any other provider takes place.

Data is transferred to LinkedIn only once you click; no LinkedIn content or scripts are embedded in this website.
